Jonathan Green Touch-Up™ TRI-RYE Perennial Ryegrass Seed is a premium quality perennial ryegrass blend. Three perennial ryegrasses make up this mixture, and are all dark-green in color and germinate quickly to fill in bare spots and thicken your long. This mixture has been used on golf courses to overseed fairways, tees, and roughs for years.
Use this grass in the fall to overseed warm-season grasses like bermudagrass which turns brown when weather gets cold. This mix provides green during winter months and recedes when warm grasses come back. Touch Up™ is very tolerant of heavy traffic situations and contains beneficial endophytes making the lawn naturally insect resistant. This seed germinates in 7 – 10 days.
When overseeding, this mixture covers 10,000 square feet and 5,000 square feet when seeding a new lawn. This mixture requires partial sun and has an excellent sun or shade tolerance. Prioritize the health of your lawn and rely on the wax coating on these blades of grass to retain their moisture and resist disease.
